Our Moonlight Cottage wax melts are lovingly created to fill your home with beautiful fragrances. To enjoy them safely, please follow these important wax melt care guidelines.

Wax Melt Safety Guidelines

1. Always use a suitable wax warmer

Only use a burner or warmer specifically designed for wax melts. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.

2. Choose the correct tealight

For tealight burners, use a good-quality, unscented tealight with a maximum burn time of 4 hours, provided this is suitable for your burner. Never use more than one tealight unless the manufacturer specifically allows it.

3. Use a stable, heat-resistant surface

Always place your warmer upright on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from edges where it could be knocked over.

4. Keep away from flammable materials

Keep burners and warmers away from curtains, paper, fabrics and anything that could catch fire or become damaged by heat.

5. Never leave a warmer unattended

Never leave a lit tealight burner unattended. Switch off electric warmers when not in use. Never leave a warmer operating while you're asleep or away from home.

6. Keep away from children and pets

Wax, burners and warmers can become extremely hot. Always position them safely out of reach of children and pets.

7. Never overfill the dish

Use an appropriate amount of wax for your warmer, leaving enough space for it to melt without overflowing.

8. Never add water or other liquids

Do not add water, fragrance oils or any other liquids to your wax melt burner or warmer.

9. Take care around hot wax

Never touch or move a burner while the wax is hot or liquid. Allow both the wax and warmer to cool completely before handling.

10. Check your warmer before use

Inspect your burner or warmer for cracks, chips or other damage. Never use a damaged warmer.

11. Keep your warmer clean

Allow the wax and warmer to cool completely before removing used wax. Clean according to the manufacturer's instructions and ensure everything is dry before using it again.

12. Use in a well-ventilated room

Enjoy your wax melts in a suitably ventilated space. If a fragrance causes discomfort, discontinue use.
